Hand soap is still best solution for removing physical dirt & germs and hand sanitizers are only an alternative replacement when you are outdoor.
But you may consider to use a water-based disinfectant which is formulated with safe & natural ingredients – Hypochlorous Acid when you are at work, school, public place or inside the vehicle. It’s PH based on skin neutral PH between 5 to 7, with no chemical or artificial fragrance. It creates no irritation to sensitive skin as due to its PH value.
